After using the pure water fed pole system for some time and the feedback from customers about it being so good Mansfield window cleaners have decided to concentrate on using this method for all new properties.
Most conservatory cleaning is already carried out using the system and of course all upper floors are already cleaned this way but after many of our customers have specifically requested that we clean their ground floor windows with "that brush we use" we have made the decision to only use traditional methods on very special request.
The method is slightly quicker usually but not always and the equipment is expensive to buy and upkeep and the pure water is expensive and time consuming to make so what I have decided is rather than a price rise which was possible this year I am keeping all prices the same, including new customers.
All new customers can still recieve cleaning services at current prices but a small surcharge will be added if traditional cleaning is requested on ground floor windows but after seeing the benifits of water fed pole cleaning most people do accept that it gives a better all round clean that lasts longer.
It's that time of year again, spring is in the air and we all want to spend time out in the garden or at least as close to it as possible. Conservatories do tend to gather dirt, debris, moss and algae through the winter months so when summer does come around the insides can be a little dull and to be honest your conservatory loses a little of it beauty.
We offer different levels of conservatory cleaning from a professional roof wash to a full valet which includes the roof wash and also the inside of the roof and all of the windows. Never climbing up onto buildings we utilise high reach pure water cleaning equipment and environmentally friendly plant based cleaning solutions.
Well I did an internal conservatory clean in Mansfield this week and although taking an hour longer than expected (3 hrs) myself and the homeowner (I think) were very happy with the results.
All uPVC frames including inside the roof was cleaned to practically new standard which is pretty good considering the conservatory was 15+ years old.
I'm always trying out new techniques in order to improve the service that I offer and although I cover anything inside your conservatory with plastic sheets I'm always concerned about water falling onto anything causing staining or damage so I tried out a Karcher window vac and to my great surprise I have to say I was very impressed. It does make the job of cleaning the glass/plastic roof panels a little slower but it totally eliminates the risk of water falling onto anything as there are no drips so I will be utilising these machines on a few inside conservatory roof cleaning bookings in the future.
I won't be using these for anything else I'll be carrying on doing it "properly" but for this one job and possibly a few more and inside skylights etc I think it will prove a godsend.
At Mansfield Window Cleaners we endeavour to keep ahead of the rest through both self build systems home modified equipment and state of the art equipment from mainstream suppliers.
Recently I had the privilige of reviewing a new type of squeegee channel from industry leaders Moerman. The squeegee is called the liquidator and without getting technical, cuts out the need for your window cleaner to wipe around the edge of the glass because the squeegee removes water from the edge that normally gets left behind, a pet hate of most traditional cleaners in the industry.
Here is copy of the review that is featured in the top uk industry magazine WCP Mag:
Oh dear as the title of this blog post suggests it's been throwing it down with rain all day today but hey every cloud has a silver lining, well they hold a lot of water anyway.
It may not be ideal for window cleaning in Mansfield today but a lot of rainwater has been harvested, enough in fact for a couple of days cleaning so the reverse osmosis system can be ignored for a few days and the rain can simply be de-ionised to purify it and we can clean with it.
Mansfield Window Cleaners try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as we can, using environmentally friendly cleaning solutions and recyclable tools but what more natural resource could there be than rainwater so we use it whenever we can.
Please note that since this article was posted due to storage limitations we no longer harvest rainwater for water fed pole window cleaning in Mansfield.
